Our students have learned songs by many popular female artists:
Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Tori Kelly, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Pat Benatar, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, Avril Lavigne, and many others.
Girls interested in the singer/songwriter style (like Taylor Swift!) will first learn the same basic musical techniques and concepts as any other student, with an early emphasis on chords, rhythm, theory, songwriting techniques, using a capo.
Acoustic players will also explore fingerstyle techniques. And all during the process you will learn your favorite songs!
